First, draw ladybugs. Help your child draw three or four large circles on a piece of paper with a line down the middle of each.

• Draw a head and six legs on each bug.
• Next, let your child draw spots on the ladybug.
• Together, count the spots and write the number.
• If your child is in kindergarten, try this simple addition activity. Count the spots on one half of the ladybug. Then count the spots on the other half and add them together!
  • For example: 4 + 3 = 7 spots!
