Hands-on Activity: Haz sonreír a los demás

Skill: collaborative games

Materials: tennis ball, marker, music player

  • Part of being kind is making other people smile! Spread smiles with this simple game.
  • In advance, draw a smiley face on a tennis ball. Seat children in a circle and have kids pass the ball around while you play some lively music. When the music stops, the child holding the ball has to try to make the person sitting to their right smile!
  • Children can try to spread smiles any way they like. They might give a compliment, tell a joke, wave and say hello, or make a silly face. Continue until all children have had a turn.
