Hands-on Activity: Medusa de cuenco de papel
Hands-on Activity: Medusa de cuenco de papel
Skill: art
Materials: paper bowls, precut pieces of colored tissue, yarn, glue, tape, curly ribbon, googly eyes (optional)
- Set out the bowls, colored tissue, and glue. Have kids turn their bowl upside down, cover it with glue, and then decorate it with pieces of tissue.
- With scissors, punch a hole in the bottom of each bowl. Thread the yarn through, make a knot on the inside of the bowl, and tape it in place. This way, kids can hang their jellyfish!
- Give kids curly ribbon. Have them tape the ribbons to the inside of the bowl so they will hang down. These are the tentacles.
- If you like, kids can also glue googly eyes to their jellyfish as a finishing touch!
