Materials: construction paper, paint, markers

• Have each child dip their hands in brown paint and make two sideways handprints. The heels of the hands should be touching and the fingers should be facing out, like wings.
• Next, have children make legs by making two yellow thumbprints under the wings.
• When the paint dries, children can use markers to draw the neck and head. They can also make talons on the ends of the legs.
• Finally, have children complete this sentence at the bottom of the page: Las águilas son ________. They can use a word from the issue or one of their own.
